What this program is about.
Every wrapper dropped, every bag left behind, every bin that overflows unattended is a small decision that feels harmless in the moment. But plastic waste ignored is not plastic waste gone. It piles up, it travels, and it lasts for centuries.
Ignored plastic clogs drains and floods streets in the monsoon. It leaches into the soil that grows our food. It's eaten by cattle and wildlife that mistake it for food. It breaks down into microplastics that reach our water and our bodies. None of this happens because people are careless on purpose — it happens because the consequences are out of sight.
Our job is to bring those consequences back into view. When people can see where their waste actually ends up, 'someone else's problem' becomes their own — and that shift is where lasting change begins.
