Sukhna Lake draws thousands of visitors — and the plastic they leave behind. Join our team for a focused morning clearing waste from the lake's edge and shoreline before the heat and the crowds set in.
It's relaxed, social, and genuinely useful — every bag we fill is one less that fragments into the water. First-timers are very welcome; you'll be paired with an experienced volunteer.
What to expect
- ✓A 15-minute safety and impact briefing before we start.
- ✓Working in small teams along an assigned stretch of shore.
- ✓Sorting and weighing what we collect so it goes into our data.
- ✓Wrapping up by 11 AM with a group photo and a cold drink.
What to bring
- Closed shoes you don't mind getting muddy
- A refillable water bottle
- A hat and sunscreen
- Optional: your own gardening gloves
